Lowell Howell has joined First State Bank Howell as vice president in Laurel. Howell is a graduate of Mississippi State University and successfully completed each of the four Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Schools in Washington, D.C. Howell was also a founder, board member and former employee of Page the Bank of Jones County.
Howell is the current president of the Salvation Army advisory board, past president and current board member of the Kiwanis Club of Laurel, past president and current vice president of East Central Mississippi Home Builders Association, board member of the United Way of the Pine Belt, and member of the One Hundred Club of Jones County.
