The Fairy Bower pools in Manly have been one of the city's best-kept secrets with those in the know quietly keeping the stunning spot to themselves.
'I love this pool, it's the nicest in Sydney,' one woman posted after a cheeky photoshoot.
'I love that it isn't busy, it's like having a resort pool to yourself.'
But an announcement showing off the pool's new sun-drenched chill-out zone has let the secret out.
'We love the upgrade to the beautiful Fairy Bower pool in Manly. As if summer by the sea wasn’t appealing enough already, now there’s more room to soak up the sun and hang out with friends, the announcement on Facebook read.

Share'Fairy Bower is the smallest of Sydney's rock pools, excepting a couple of the children's pools. They are half way along the walkway between Manly Beach and Shelly Beach. The pool was built by locals in 1929 in what was known then as Cabbage Tree Bay,' one local added to the announcement.
The rustic sea wall, stunning bay view and inner-city location have always made the 'slice of paradise' perfect for a sunny afternoon outing or weekend escape.
But the new improvements mean the beautiful ocean baths now have a sun-drenched deck to hang out in, making it the perfect spot for selfie enthusiasts.
